EMMS is managing the construction of the Banksia Solar Project, a 118-hectare facility 12 km south of Childers, Queensland. Approved by Bundaberg Regional Council in 2021, the project integrates a solar farm with a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). Construction is expected to span 18 months, leading to operational status in 2028. With a 30-year lifecycle, Banksia will provide clean energy to power over 30,000 homes annually.
